Every Realtors nightmare is listing a house that needs work. Whether that is paint, carpet/flooring, structural, or anything else, it is never fun to show a listing that needs work as buyers always pick apart the house.
Luckily I have a listing called 221 Reseda Drive which is in Northeast Columbia, SC and needs NOTHING!
I have been at this house seeing the transformation from start to finish. It was not in bad condition whatsoever before the renovations, but it did need some TLC.
My clients did everything I ask (they are repeat clients and love to work with them each and every time). I’ll start with the most important part of the house, the kitchen.
My clients opened up the kitchen. To start, they ripped out the cabinets, the floor, wall paper, some Sheetrock, and appliances. First my clients tiled the kitchen in tile that is to die for. They spared no expense! After the tile was cured and dry, they built a pantry…a very large pantry! Adding new cabinets was a must along with an island on the edge of the kitchen which opens up to the family room! Top shelf appliances put the finishing touches on this extraordinary kitchen.
In the family room, we painted all the walls. The ceilings are very tall which make this open area ideal to sit next to the warm fire place in the cold of winter. Adding new carpet, molding, and ripping out all the paneling and replacing it with great sheet rock made this a must have room.
My clients then opened up the wall in between the family room and front sitting room. This takes advantage of the windows and great area. This sitting room opens into the dining room which is a beautiful sandy earth tone green. Also in the dining room we added hardwood floors.
The hall bathroom was changed out with a brand new vanity and cabinetry. We also added a very nice tile to the floor and a tile accented backsplash.
This house has 3 bedrooms. They all received the TLC they deserved. All have a fresh coat of paint as well as new carpet. The master has a private bath with brand new Vanity and cabinetry. The walk-in closet tops it all off!
This house has a huge back and front yard which is fenced in. We added some nice landscaping accents around the house to make this beautiful house shine!
